The 1 oz British Britannia Silver Coin is struck in 999 fine silver by The Royal Mint, weighing 1 oz (31.1g). First issued in silver in 1997, the Britannia silver coin carries the same design as its gold counterpart and The Royal Mint's advanced anti-counterfeiting features.
VAT: Silver bullion is subject to the standard 20% UK VAT rate, as it doesn't qualify for the "investment gold" exemption HMRC applies to gold.
Capital Gains Tax: As UK legal tender, this coin is exempt from Capital Gains Tax for UK residents.

Collection
Orders are collected in person from our London studio. Once your payment has cleared we will contact you to arrange a collection appointment, and responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are handed over.
Please bring photographic ID matching the name on the order. Your metal is held in our insured vault until you collect it.

Cancellations & Returns
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however, you may be able to sell your investment products back to IBV Gold at the current buy-back rate.
