The 1 oz South African Silver Krugerrand is struck in 999 fine silver by The South African Mint, weighing 1 oz (31.1g). The silver counterpart to the original Krugerrand, first issued in 2017, carrying the same springbok reverse design.
VAT: Silver bullion is subject to the standard 20% UK VAT rate, as it doesn't qualify for the "investment gold" exemption HMRC applies to gold.
Capital Gains Tax: As it is not UK legal tender, gains above your annual CGT allowance may be taxable.

Collection
Orders are collected in person from our London studio. Once your payment has cleared we will contact you to arrange a collection appointment, and responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are handed over.
Please bring photographic ID matching the name on the order. Your metal is held in our insured vault until you collect it.
Please be aware that IBV Gold Online cannot accommodate third-party collections.
Cancellations & Returns
Once you place an order, you cannot cancel it. We do not currently accept returns, however, you may be able to sell your investment products back to IBV Gold at the current buy-back rate.
